The Missionary Congregation of the Evangelizing Sisters of Mary was founded in the year 1975 as the first pure African Congregation, dedicated to spreading the Gospel and serving humanity.
The Missionary Congregation of the Evangelizing Sisters of Mary was established in Moroto Diocese, Uganda, with the aim of evangelizing Africa through Africa.

To prepare individuals for religious life by helping them deepen their spiritual life, discern their vocation, understand the institute's charism and mission, and form the habits and virtues needed for vowed life.
